Las alarmas cada vez suenan más con la ausencia de gol en el Tri de Gerardo Martino, luego de un mal juego ante Ecuador que terminó en empate.
Ante otro duelo de Raúl Jiménez sin encontrarse con el gol, el mexicano no anota en jugada desde el 20 de noviembre del 2020, lo cual representa año y medio sin que lo haga por esta vía, quitando los penales que ha convertido.
