Con la voluntad del jugador de regresar a la Serie A con el Inter, el Chelsea autorizó el préstamo de una temporada con los italiano.
De acuerdo a reportes de Fabrizio Romano, Romelu Lukaku portara los colores del Inter la próxima campaña, en un préstamo que le costó al cuadro italiano 8 millones de euros.
No obstante, su llegada sólo es por cesión, debido a que el Chelsea no incluyo ninguna opción de compra, debido a que busca tenerlo en un futuro.
Por su parte, el futbolista recibirá 8 millones de euros garantizados, formando una delantera letal con Lautaro Martínez y Paulo Dybala.
